​Co-Owner and Burns Klemm President, John Burns has his BS in Business Management and leads the way with his expertise in Real estate. If you need to find a new home, buildable lot, or you would like to build an investment property to sell, John has all the answers. John is truly knowledgeable when it comes to buying and selling in Brigantine and along the New Jersey shore. John also manages our change order process.

​Co-Owner and Burns Klemm CEO - Jason Klemm is a master carpenter who received his training through the International Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 623. He has a wealth of both residential and commercial construction experience and is a third-generation custom home builder. Jason meets with our clients to discuss the process and assess our clients’ needs as well as preparing the proposal for construction. Jason leads and coordinates our team of project managers and subcontractors to streamline the process.

​CFO Sheri Umscheid manages the office and all things financial. She has a BA in business and accounting and puts that to good use handling all accounts receivable and payable and is a part of the entire process keeping our clients on track and within budget. Our process is transparent so there are no surprises.

​Heather Klemm is our in-house selection coordinator and design expert. She has a BS in interior design from The Art Institute of Philadelphia. Heather has a wide variety of experience having worked in interior design since 2012. She coordinates your selections and makes sure you have not missed any, keeping you on task and within budget to avoid delays.

​John Short is our Lead Project Manager. John supervises the infield workflow. He has a great rapport with our clients and truly understands the needs of the client. He has a wealth of experience and is a union trained carpenter as well as having run his own construction company.

Josh Biondi has joined our team as project manager with 12 years experience in the construction field. He is union trained with experience as a foreman as well as having run his own construction company. Josh has a great rapport with clients and strives to make the construction ​process a pleasant one for the clients. Josh treats all projects like they are his own and makes sure the job gets done in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.

Theresa Connolly is our Pre-Construction Manager and is a valued asset to our team. Theresa manages the permit application process, inspections, and many of the day-to-day office duties.
